Holly Robinson, an educator at Rockcastle County High School, has been selected for the Smithsonian’s Democracy in Dialogue Cohort 6, a prestigious national program focused on civic learning and historical understanding.
As part of the Spring 2026 cohort, Holly will collaborate with innovative educators from across the country, participate in virtual training sessions, and receive ongoing PLC support. She has also been invited to Washington, D.C. in January for Smithsonian-led training and planning, with all travel and lodging expenses fully covered. Participants in the program are also eligible for an honorarium.
Holly earned her spot through a competitive interview process, where she proposed a project engaging approximately 60 RCHS students in researching Rockcastle County’s contributions to 250 years of American history. Her participation will bring unique learning experiences to Rockcastle students and further strengthen civic education within the district.
